SUNDAY ROAST 
Chuck roast, boneless
Salt
Flour
Cooking oil

Salt lightly and flour roast and brown in small amount of oil on all sides in iron pot or heavy pot. Sprinkle with: Garlic powder 1 env. dry onion-mushroom soup

Cover with tight fitting lid and cook 3 to 4 hours (while at church), on lowest heat on top of stove. Remove roast, add cornstarch and water to drippings to make gravy.
