BLACKBERRY COBBLER 
4 c. fresh or frozen blackberries, any other fruit may be substituted
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar (or enough for taste)
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter (softened)
2/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. milk

Cook first four ingredients to a boil and pour in a 9x13 pan. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in butter. Add sugar and milk. Stir until mixture holds together. Drop by spoonfuls onto hot fruit. Bake 425 degrees for 45 minutes or until top is done.
