| LORNA DOONE JELLO SALAD | |

1 pkg. Lorna Doone cookies, crushed 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted 3 tbsp. sugar Mix and press into 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Beat together: 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 c. sugar Cream together. Stir in 9 ounces (medium size) Cool Whip. Spread on cool crust. Dissolve 6 ounces strawberry Jello with 2 cups boiling water. Add two 10 ounce frozen strawberries. Pour on cream mixture. Make sure strawberry mixture is somewhat thickened. Top with Cool Whip - garnish with strawberries. | |
