CHERRY PINEAPPLE DESSERT 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. Wheaties cereal
3/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar

FILLING:

1 1/2 c. fresh or frozen cherries
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 tsp. red food coloring
1 sm. can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar

Cook filling until thick. Set aside. Combine crust ingredients. Mix to a crumbly texture. Pat half of the mixture into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Pour filling on top of crust. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake 20 minutes, until golden brown at 325 degrees.
