OATMEAL MARBLE SQUARES 
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter (softened)
6 tbsp. sugar
6 tbsp. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. uncooked oats
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 (8 oz.) c. chocolate chips

Preheat oven 375 degrees. In a small bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla; beat until creamy. Beat in egg. Blend in flour mixture. Stir in oats and nuts. Spread into greased 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over top. Place in oven for 3 minutes. Run knife through to marbelize. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Cool, cut into 2-inch squares.
