ITALIAN SAUSAGE WITH TOMATO
BASIL
 
1 (16 oz.) pkg. Italian sausage
1 green onion with top, chopped
8 oz. vermicelli, cooked
1 sm. tomato, chopped

SAUCE:

2/3 c. milk
1 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. basil leaves, crushed

Cut sausages into 1/2 inch slices. Pan fry 5 minutes on medium, turning frequently. Heat sauce ingredients on medium, stirring until mixture thickens. Stir in half the onion. Toss sauce with vermicelli. Top with sausage, remaining onion and tomato. Makes 4 servings.
