FRUIT TURNOVERS 
Pastry:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. unsifted flour
1/2 c. sm. curd cottage cheese

Plum Filling:

2 c. chopped Italian prunes or red plums
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
2 tbsp. quick tapioca, Do Not Cook

Cut butter and flour and blend in cottage cheese. Chill, roll very thin on well floured board. Cut into 5 inch squares. Spoon filling on half of each square. Fold over to make triangles. Seal edges. Sprinkle with sugar.

Bake 400 degrees 15-20 minutes.
