DOUGH FOR PASTELLITOS DE FRUTA
(TURNOVERS)
 
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Pinch salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. lard

Mix with lukewarm water until soft. Spread on pie plate or cookie sheet. Fill with favorite fruit. Add top crust and brush top with milk. Then sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture and bake. Use your own judgment on baking, 350-400 degrees until done.
