CHOCOLATE CHERRY BARS 
1 pkg. devils food cake mix
21 oz. can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs, beaten

Combine well. Grease and flour 13 x 9 inch pan or 15 x 10 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees - 25-30 minutes for 13 x 9 inch pan or 20-30 minutes for 15 x 10 inch pan.

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk

Combine in saucepan; boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Melt 6 ounce semi-sweet chocolate chips in microwave. Stir into sugar mixture. Pour over warm bars. Makes 36 bars.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
