MAGYAR COFFEE CAKE (MAGYAR
KAVESSUTEMENY)
 
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 lg. cake household yeast
3 eggs
1/2 c. soft butter
4 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. melted butter

CINNAMON MIXTURE:

1 c. ground nuts
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sugar

Mix sour cream, sugar, salt, and yeast stir until yeast dissolves. Add eggs, softened butter and half the flour. Mix well and ad the rest of the flour. Turn dough in a greased in a greased bowl. Cover and let rise again for 45 minutes. After that, form dough in walnut size balls, dip in melted butter, roll in sugar, walnuts, and cinnamon mixture. Place in layer in a round pan. A tube pan is real good. Let rise 45 minutes and bake for 40-50 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees until light brown.
