BISHOP'S BREAD | |
1/2 c. soft butter 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs 2 3/4 c. flour, sifted 3 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. milk 1/3 c. nuts, finely chopped 1/3 c. candied cherries 1/3 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces 1/3 c. raisins Blend together butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; gradually blend into first mixture alternately with milk. Stir in nuts, cherries, chocolate and raisins. Turn into greased 9x5x3 inch pan. |
