BEEF STROGANOFF | |
2 lb. round steak, cut in 1/2 inch cubes 3 tbsp. fat 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, chopped 2 tbsp. flour 1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms in broth 1/2 c. celery, diced 1 c. sour cream 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Brown steak cubes in fat; add onion and garlic. Cook until golden. stir in flour, add remaining ingredients. Bake in greased casserole, uncovered at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Serve with rice. Very good with leftover roast also. |
