APRICOT TREATS 
36 dried apricot halves
1 tbsp. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

In food processor, combine apricots, sugar and cinnamon until finely chopped. Divide mixture into 12 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball with palms of hands. Set each portion into a paper candy cup or on a serving platter.

Melt chocolate in glass measuring cup in microwave until melted thoroughly. Drizzle an equal amount of chocolate over each candy. Let stand until hardened. Yields: 4 servings of 3 candies each. Counts as: 1 1/2 fruits, 35 optional calories.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
