VERA LEE'S PEPPER STEAK WITH
RICE
 
3 c. cooked rice
1 lb. round steak, cut 1/2 inch thick strips
1 tbsp. paprika
2 tbsp. butter
2 cloves garlic
1 1/2 c. beef bouillon
1 c. sliced green onions and tops
2 bell peppers
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 lg. tomatoes

Sprinkle meat with paprika. In large skillet, brown meat in butter. Add garlic and broth. Cover 30 minutes. Stir in onions, green peppers. Blend cornstarch, water, and soy sauce. Stir into meat. Cook till thick. Add tomatoes.
