1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. raw peanut butter 1 c. brown sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 3/4 c. whole wheat flour 1/4 c. wheat germ 1/2 c. non-fat dry milk solids 3/4 tsp. sea salt 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. baking soda 3 tbsp. milk 1 c. rolled oats 1 c. raisins 1 c. carob chips or chocolate chips (optional) 1/2 c. coconut (optional) 3 tbsp. sesame seeds 1/2 c. nuts, chopped Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter, peanut butter and sugar together until light. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, wheat germ, milk solids, salt, baking powder and soda. Stir into creamed mixture. Add milk and oats; mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Drop on baking sheets. Bake about 12 minutes. Cool and transfer on a wire rack. |
