GRANDMA'S CUCUMBERS | |
Cucumber(s) Green onion or dehydrated onion Salt Cider vinegar Peel cucumber(s). Slice thin. Place in bowl, sprinkling salt on each layer. Add sliced green onion or dehydrated onion. Leave stand 10 to 15 minutes. (Cucumbers will get watery and softish.) Remove from bowl and squeeze with your hands. Return to bowl. Add cider vinegar - just enough to cover slices (not swimming in it). |
