CHERRY BREAD PUDDING | |
1 can cherry pie filling 4 slices bread, cubed 1/4 cup butter, melted 1/2 tsp. lemon juice 1 c. milk 3 eggs 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 tsp. almond extract pinch cinnamon Spread pie filling in dish and top with bread cubes. Drizzle with butter, sprinkle with lemon juice (may use Real Lemon). Combine milk, eggs, sugar and almond extract. Pour over bread; press cubes into egg mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350°F for about an hour or until center is done. Allow to stand 5 minutes. Good warm or cold with cool whip or ice cream. |
