TUNA SUPREME | |
2 tbsp. butter 2 med. onions, chopped 2 stalks of celery, chopped 2 c. uncooked pasta 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 can condensed Cheddar cheese soup 1 1/2 c. sour cream 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese 3 (6 1/2 oz.) cans tuna 3 hard boiled eggs, chopped Salt and pepper Old Bays seasoning Paprika 1 c. chopped potato chips Over medium heat, melt butter in a 6 quart saucepan. Add onions and celery and saute until tender. Put celery and onions in a very large mixing bowl. Without rinsing saucepan, fill 2/3 full with cold water. Add a pinch of salt to water and bring to boil over high heat. Add pasta, reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 10 to 12 minutes. Check for tenderness, then drain. To the celery and onions and mushroom and Cheddar cheese soups, sour cream, tuna, eggs, grated Cheddar, and seasonings. Mix well. To this mixture, add pasta and stir again. Pour into a lightly greased baking dish. Top with potato chips and paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. |
