SIMPLE LASAGNE 
1 1/2 lbs. of ground round or lean ground beef
1 sm. box of lasagne noodles
1 lg. container small curd cottage cheese
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 med. can tomato sauce or paste
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. salad oil
2 lg. bay leaves
1 med. onion, chopped

Cook noodles in water to which oil and bay leaves have been added. After they have cooked according to directions on the package drain well and be sure that all of the bay leaves are removed.

Cook meat with onions, then drain well and rinse to remove all grease. Then add tomato sauce and stir to mix well.

In greased baking pan, beginning by layering the noodles, meat, then the Cheddar and Mozzarella cheeses until all of the mixture is used up. Top with Parmesan cheese.

Cook in oven at 350 degrees approximately 20 minutes or until cheese is brown. Be careful not to burn cheese by overcooking.
