GARLIC SPARE RIBS | |
3 lb. pork ribs 1 sm. onion, chopped 1/2 c. water 1/4 c. vinegar 2 tbsp. cornstarch 2 beef cubes 3/4 c. brown sugar 1/4 tsp. garlic powder Shake of curry, ginger and ground cloves Place ribs and onion in pot. Cover with water and boil 45 minutes. Drain off water and refrigerate. Mix cornstarch with vinegar and water in sauce pan. Add remaining ingredients and cook over low heat stirring until sauce thickens. Place cooled ribs in baking dish. Pour sauce over ribs. Make sure all ribs are coated. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 300 degrees until ribs are cooked (approximately 30 minutes). Serve with fried rice. May be prepared ahead of time and left uncooked. |
