ITALIAN SAUSAGE GARDEN SKILLET | |
1 pkg. authentic hot or mild sausage 1 green pepper, cut into strips 1 cup zucchini, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces 2 tbsp. butter 1 lb. tomatoes, cut into chunks 1 cup pearl onions pinch of fresh mint (optional) salt and pepper, to taste Cook sausage, peppers and zucchini in butter until vegetables are tender, about 6 to 8 minutes. Add tomatoes, pearl onions and savory; simmer covered, about 25 to 30 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Server over rice or pasta. Serves 4. Submitted by: Diane Felico |
