FRENCH FRIED ONION RINGS 
2 eggs
1 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
2 or 3 Bermuda onions, sliced 1/4" thick

Sift flour and salt, stir in cornmeal. Beat eggs and milk lightly, mix with dry ingredients. More flour and cornmeal may be added if batter appears too thin.

Dip onion rings into batter and fry in deep hot oil until light brown. Drain on paper towel. Serve immediately.
