MICROWAVE BARBECUED CHICKEN 
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 1/2 tbsp. butter
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce with onions
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
3 lb. broiler-fryer, cut up

Place onion, green pepper and butter in 1 quart casserole. Cook on high for 3-4 minutes, or until onion and green pepper are tender. Add remaining ingredients, except chicken. Cook on high for 1 1/2 minutes.

Arrange chicken pieces in 2 quart utility dish with larger pieces, such as thighs and breasts, at corners, skin-side-down. Place small pieces, such as legs and wings, toward center.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
