1/2 c. beet juice
1/2 c. vinegar
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
Dash of salt
1 med. sized can beets

Heat mixture and slice beets into it. Let it heat through; then chill. Makes enough for 1 medium can sliced or small beets.
