JAM CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs, well beaten
2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. raisins

Blend sugar and butter. Add beaten eggs, jam and buttermilk. Slowly add flour, spices, soda and cocoa mixture to batter. Then mix in vanilla, nuts and raisins. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
