PINWHEEL COOKIES 
2 c. all-purpose flour
2/3 c. sweet milk
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. shortening
1 lb. pork sausage

Make dough; roll thin. Spread on sausage (which is at room temperature). Roll up like a jelly roll and chill. Slice thin and bake in moderate oven at 350°F until cookies are light brown.
