MEATBALLS AND GRAVY 
3 lbs. beef, pork and veal mixture
1/2 c. locatelli cheese
3 eggs
2 cloves garlic, minced or to taste
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. fresh or dried parsley
1 c. bread crumbs
2 tbsp. oil
2 lg. cans whole tomatoes
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 tomato paste can water

Put meat in large bowl; add all ingredients except oil, tomatoes, paste, and water. Mix well with hands. Shape into balls. Heat oil in skillet and brown meatballs.

In a large saucepan, combine whole tomatoes and tomato paste with water. Simmer browned meatballs slowly in sauce for 2 hours. Serve over pasta.
