MACARONI AND CHEESE 
1-2 lb. box macaroni
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 stick butter
1 lg. jar Cheez Whiz
1 pkg. (2 c.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 (8 oz.) chunk medium Cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Boil macaroni until tender, following package directions. Place macaroni in large 3 1/2 quart oven-proof baking dish. Pour into macaroni 1 can of evaporated milk, butter, salt and pepper. Microwave or heat on stove the jar of Cheez Whiz until it becomes a sauce. Pour through macaroni, mix in well.

Add half the package of sharp Cheddar and mix throughout macaroni. Slice into chunks the medium Cheddar and place throughout macaroni. Pour remaining sharp Cheddar on top. Place in oven at 400 degrees for approximately 30 minutes or until cheese on top begins to brown.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.

This was really good,quick and easy. It brought back the memories of mom's homemade mac and cheese. The next time I make it, I will use less butter. Half a stick I think would be plenty. The bottom noodles in the pan were swimming in butter.
