LINZER TORTE 
10 tbsp. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Rind of 1/2 lemon, grated
1 tbsp. cherry Schnapps
1 c. ground almonds
1 c. + 1 tbsp. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. milk

FILLING:

About 1 c. raspberry jam

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. When you have a workable dough. Spread two thirds of the dough in a buttered 9" pie or cake pan. Spread jam evenly on top. Arrange rest of dough on top in lattice fashion by rolling in skinny strips. Mix one egg yolk with a little milk for shiny finish. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes.
