MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter, soft
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1 bag sm. marshmallows

Mix sugar, butter and eggs until well blended. Add dry ingredients to above mixture; add vanilla and chopped nuts. Grease and flour an oblong pan, bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and spread marshmallows on top; return to oven until marshmallows have melted. (Watch closely.)

ICING:

1 stick butter
1 box powdered sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/3 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix all ingredients together; spread on cake when cool.
