FLORENTINES 
2/3 c. butter
2 c. quick oats
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. flour
1/4 c. corn syrup
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (11 1/2 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate morsels

Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat. Stir in oats, sugar, flour, corn syrup, milk, vanilla and salt. Mix well. Drop by level teaspoonsful about 3 inches apart, into foil lined cookie sheets. Spread thin. Bake at 375 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes (edges should be brown, do not underbake). Cool completely. Take off of tin foil. Melt chocolate, then spread on flat side of cookie, top with another cookie.
