MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN | |
1 stick butter 1 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. white Karo syrup Dash of salt Mix ingredients in glass container. Place in microwave for 1 minute. Remove and stir. Return to microwave and boil for 2 minutes. (Be careful not to boil over sides.) Set for about 4 minutes. Remove and add 1/4 teaspoon baking soda. Stir until foamy. Add caramel mixture to 4 quarts of popped corn in a large heavy duty grocery sack. (Do not use recycled bags.) Shake well and place in microwave for 1 minute. Repeat 3 more times until the sack is turned all the way around. Put on cookie sheet to cool. |
