MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN
1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white Karo syrup
Dash of salt

Mix ingredients in glass container. Place in microwave for 1 minute. Remove and stir. Return to microwave and boil for 2 minutes. (Be careful not to boil over sides.) Set for about 4 minutes. Remove and add 1/4 teaspoon baking soda. Stir until foamy. Add caramel mixture to 4 quarts of popped corn in a large heavy duty grocery sack. (Do not use recycled bags.) Shake well and place in microwave for 1 minute. Repeat 3 more times until the sack is turned all the way around. Put on cookie sheet to cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
