BARBEQUED CHUCK ROAST | |
3 lb. chuck roast, 1 1/2-2 inches thick 1 tsp. Accent 1/3 c. vinegar 1/4 c. catsup 2 tbsp. oil 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. prepared mustard 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. pepper Sprinkle both sides of roast with Accent. Place in shallow baking dish. Thoroughly combine vinegar and all the rest. Pour over roast and marinate 2-3 hours or more, turning at least twice. Place roast on grill or broiler pan and broil about 6 inches from heat. Turn roast and baste with marinade every 10-15 minutes. Broil a total of 35-45 minutes for a medium rare roast or until of desired doneness. 6-8 servings. |
