CARAMEL PECAN PIE 
32 caramels
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. butter
2 eggs
3/4 c. white sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans

In double boiler melt caramels with water and butter until smooth. Mix together slightly beaten eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla. Gradually add caramel sauce. Then add pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes then at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. It will still be soft in the middle. When serving top with Cool Whip or ice cream.
