CRANBERRY PUMPKIN BREAD 
1/3 c. (51 - 3 tbsp.) butter
1 1/3 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 2/3 c. sifted, all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 c. mashed cooked pumpkin
1 1/2 c. cranberries, chopped and rolled in 1/3 cup sugar
1 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Cream together the butter and sugar, then beat in the eggs and vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients. Add to the egg mixture and blend just until smooth. Mix in the pumpkin, chopped and sugared berries and nuts. Blend briefly. Pour into the greased loaf pan and bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 55 minutes, or until bread tests done. Makes one loaf.
