EVELYN'S CHEESE-TATO TOPPER 
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1 tsp. Accent
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 lb. ground beef
1/3 c. chopped onion (or 1 1/2 tsp. minced onion)

Mix milk with bread crumbs. Sprinkle with Accent. Beat in next 6 ingredients. Mix in ground beef with fork. Turn into 9-inch pie plate. Bake in moderate 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Remove.

TOPPING:

1 env. (1/2 c.) instant mashed potatoes
4 slices (4 oz.) sharp American cheese, divided

Prepare potatoes according to package directions. Season. Cover hot meat with 3 slices cheese. Swirl potatoes on top; dot with pieces of remaining cheese. Place under broiler and heat to melt cheese. Makes 4-6 servings.
