CHEESE SAUCE FOR VEGETABLES 
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of black pepper
1 c. grated cheddar cheese

Melt butter in pan. Add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute. Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened. Add salt, pepper and cheese, stirring until cheese melts. About 1 cup. Drain vegetables well and pour over to serve.
