MOCK SPLIT PEA SOUP 
3 c. water
1/8 tsp. mace
1 lb. can French style green beans
6 sprigs parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
1 env. onion bouillon
6 stalks celery, diced
1 bay leaf
1 lb. can asparagus

Combine all ingredients, except seasoning in blender. Run at high speed. Pour into soup kettle. Add seasoning. Simmer for 1/2 hour or more. Discard bay leaf - serve hot. Yield: 4 servings.
