PETER PAUL MOUND CAKE | |
1 box devil's food cake mix Bake as directed on box. Split layers into four layers. FILLING: 1 (4 oz.) pkg. coconut 1 c. powdered sugar 30 marshmallows 1 1/4 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla Mix milk, sugar, and marshmallows. Heat over low heat until marshmallows melt. Add vanilla and coconut. Let cool. Beat one minute. Spread between layers. ICING: 1/2 c. milk 2 c. sugar 1 stick butter 1/4 c. white syrup 1/2 c. cocoa Mix all together, except butter. Boil 5 minutes or until forms a soft ball in cold water. Add butter and vanilla. Beat and spread on cake. |
