1 box of chocolate cake mix 24 lg. marshmallows 14 oz. coconut 1 c. sugar 1 c. milk Cook cake and freeze and slice making 4 layers. In a pan melt the marshmallows, sugar, and milk. Take off heat, add coconut. Mix and put between cake layers. ICING: 2 c. sugar 3 tbsp. cocoa 1 stick butter 1/2 c. milk 1/4 c. light corn syrup 1 tsp. vanilla Mix sugar, milk, cocoa, syrup, and butter. Cook until butter melts on low. Then turn up to medium and bring to full boil. Boil 2 minutes and add vanilla. Beat until it starts to thicken. Then spread over cake. |
