BEER BREAD 
3 c. self rising flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. yeast
1 (12 oz.) can of beer

Mix the first three ingredients and stir in the beer. Put in a greased bread pan. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from the oven and butter the top. Bake 15 minutes more at 350 degrees. Remove to a rack and butter the top and sides again. Let cool, slice, and reheat if you desire. This recipe can be used with dill weed, parsley, and onion flakes. Serves 6 to 8.
