BROCCOLI AND HAM SOUP 
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. butter
2 c. diced, fully cooked ham
2 (13 3/4 oz.) cans chicken broth
2 c. chopped fresh broccoli
1 (7 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. elbow macaroni
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Grated Parmesan cheese

In 3 quart casserole combine onion, garlic and butter. Place in microwave oven (optional). In medium heat cook onion until tender. Stir in ham, broth, broccoli, undrained tomatoes, water, macaroni and nutmeg; cover. Cook until tender, stirring occasionally.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
