FUDGE CAKE 
1 c. butter
4 oz. bitter chocolate
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts, optional

Melt chocolate and butter over low heat. Mix eggs and sugar; add flour. Add chocolate mixture, vanilla and nuts to flour mixture and mix. Pour in 9 x 13 inch pan which has been greased and floured. Bake at 275 degree for 40-45 minutes.

ICING:

1/2 c. butter
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1 box powdered sugar
5 tbsp. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt chocolate and butter. Add sugar, milk and vanilla. Mix until creamy. Spread on hot cake.
