BREAD PUDDING 
13 slices bread
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 box raisins
4 dabs butter

Put raisins in hot water to soak. Break bread in small pieces. Melt butter; let cool. Add all ingredients to bread. Drain raisins and add to above. Grease pan (either square or loaf pan). Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes, longer if needed. Let cool 15 minutes. This recipe is over 70 years old.
