2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. corn oil
1 c. cane syrup
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
4 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. ginger

Mix and bake in 350 degree oven. Can be served with lemon sauce.

LEMON SAUCE:

2 eggs
1 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 stick butter

Mix well.
