CHOCOLATE SYRUP CAKE | |
3 c. sugar 3 c. flour 5 eggs 1 1/2 sticks butter 1/2 c. Crisco 2/3 c. milk 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla flavor 1 can chocolate syrup Cream butter and Crisco together until fluffy, then add sugar (one cup at a time); blend well. Then eggs, one at a time. The remaining ingredients, add to mixture and bake 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325 degrees. Or use 1 cup syrup and make chocolate layer cake. |
