BREAKFAST PIZZA | |
1 lb. pork sausage 1 can crescent dinner rolls 16 oz. grated cheese, 12 oz. mozzarella and 4 oz. sharp cheddar 6 whole eggs 1/2 c. sweet milk 1 tsp. oregano Salt and pepper to taste Crumble sausage in skillet and fry until barely done (not hard). Pour into a colander to drain grease away. Unroll rolls in a 9 1/2 x 16 inch (or thereabout) pan that has been sprayed with Pam and pinch the perforated seams of rolls together and flatten out to cover bottom of pan. Sprinkle drained sausage evenly over roll dough, sprinkle and smooth cheese over sausage. Beat egg, milk, salt and pepper and oregano together in blender and pour (drizzle) over the cheese, sausage and crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until eggs are done in the center. Let set five minutes and cut and serve. This is very good served with fresh fruit compote, or fresh sliced home grown tomatoes or both. |
