SOURDOUGH CORNBREAD 
2 c. stone ground white cornmeal
3 tbsp. light molasses
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. milk, scalded
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sourdough starter
2 lg. eggs
2 tsp. baking powder

Combine cornmeal, molasses, salt, scalded milk, and butter. Stir to melt butter and let mixture cool. Then stir in remainder of ingredients and mix well. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch well greased pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
