BROWN SUGAR TAPIOCA PUDDING | |
4 tbsp. tapioca 2 c. cold water 1 c. dark brown sugar 2 egg yolks 2 egg whites, beaten 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. chopped nuts Soak tapioca in 1 cup of cold water for 10 minutes. Beat the egg yolks and add the sugar and the rest of the water; add tapioca. Mix; cook in a double boiler for 30 minutes. Fold in rest of ingredients; pour into a glass dish and chill. Serve with plain or whipping cream. |
