SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. milk
1 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
4 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 can beef broth or consomme
1 c. milk

Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, 3/4 cup milk, salt, pepper and nutmeg together thoroughly. Roll in balls. Melt 4 tablespoons butter in skillet and brown meatballs in it. Remove meatballs with slotted spoon from drippings; blend flour in with drippings and then stir in broth and 1 cup milk. Blend until thickened. Put meatballs in gravy; cover and simmer slowly for approximately 1 hour. Serve over hot buttered noodles.
